Brendan started in music as a drummer in a punk band called Blame It On Yoko, and eventually transitioned to a full time Tour Manager. After 4+ years on the road, and the subsequent burnout that followed, he founded an artist management company in 2014 called Double Denim Mgmt. The company represents an eclectic group of artists including PISS, Art d’Ecco, and Rachel Bobbitt. Brendan is also the Label Manager at longstanding Toronto indie label, Paper Bag Records, which has gone on to break artists including Broken Social Scene, Tokyo Police Club, Austra and many others.
